From From Australia, Period 15 - 25 October 2009 "As first time travellers to Thailand we had no expectations and wanted the hotel to tell me what there was through the experience of being there. Therefore what is written is what we experienced in our time there. The rooms were more than adequate with no wasted space yet allowing for easy movement throughout the room by two people. The amenities such as bar fridges, cable television, ablutions and sitting facilities were more than adequate for the two of us. We were able to view the complex, restaurants, pools, bars and the sea from the balcony. The restaurants ranged from A La Carte to buffet. Breakfast was held in the Cinnamon Bar where surely every appetite could be met with variety and a number of breakfasts that were changed on a daily basis. Food choices for breakfast ranged from a choice of cereals, pastries, breads, pancakes and waffles; fruit by choice and pre-cut fruit salad with a number of yoghurt choices; vegetarian plates for hot food and a cold salad bar; eggs came in anyway that you required along with choices of hot food to go with them. A wide variety of juices and /or milk and water were offered. Coffee and tea appeared unlimited. The main meal was buffet style based on the theme of the day. The choices like the Cinnamon Bar were varied, matched the theme of the day and were of great value. To experience the choices of Asian food and particularly Thai food was very pleasing. The family unit was looked after even down to the child minding services on the premises and the pools were suitable for everyone but the teenagers had to show restraint. The beach was probably a 50 metre walk across the road. If we needed to go from the hotel you only had to ask reception and all things were ready in a prompt and professional way. Shopping was available close at hand - shops in the street, hotel shops such as Jim Thompson and a market in the grounds of the hotel a number of times a week. Would we come back to Katathani? From Australia, Period 01-10 September 2008 "To all our wonderful new friends, at Katathani, Thank you all ever so much, for making this the most memorable, wonderful holiday. from our wonderful service , prior to the trip, to the arrival, upon which we received a lovely drink and beautiful floral arrangement. Followed by a gorgeous suite room 1202. We had a beautiful lady, Onphen, whom attended to our beautiful room daily. Often leaving a lovely surprise, made from hand towels and face washers, creating beautiful animals, such as elephants, swans and baby birds, sitting in nests. Arranged so sweetly with orchids and foliage. My daughter Emma was delighted, and very sad to leave them, and Phuket! The fabulous resort offered us more than we could have imagined. Fabulous dining, wonderful bars, and the swimming areas, were just beautiful. The wonderful, girls that offered Thai massage, pedicures, manicures, they were all incredible. Very professional, and courteous. And best of all, they really massage well. I was fortunate enough to have many lovely treatments during our stay, whilst lying under a palm tree, listening to the waves from the beach. Relaxing. We were not, at all disappointed, in fact, utterly impressed, that we found Katathani to be beautiful on the website, but, perhaps, more likely, breathtaking, in real life . You should feel very proud of the quality and friendliness of all your staff. We were made to feel very special throughout the time of our stay and it is very difficult to single out any particular member of staff. Each and every staff member excelled in their duties and we could not find fault with anyone. The resort itself was superb and I can assure you, we will be coming back to Katathani in the future. Your renovations to your Bhurri Wing were lovely and your loving welcome of elephants and flowers on our bed both upon our arrival and departure were beautiful. The breakfasts have even improved when we thought there was no room for improvement! I must mention our massage lady Sutjai (number 82) for great thai massages and warm heart. She went out of her way to help us .... even with our shopping. Please send our best wishes to her from our family. From Finland, Period 16 – 30 March 2008 It is now 25 years since I and my cohabitant started to travel the world. We discovered Katathani first time in year 2008. Our reasons to choose hotel are: must have an exclusive location, excellent beach and excellent restaurants and good service with friendly and professional staff. In Katathani our list of demand came true. Spacious and well appointed rooms, kept superbly clean ( thank’s for Mrs. Preeyakamon ) compliment this resort. The food is of the highest quality and reasonably priced. There are enough activities on or around the resort to keep the most energetic occupied. Children are also well catered for. The most overwhelming thing about Katathani is the staff. Leena’s illness for 6 days was the only sad think during our holiday, but rest of it was marvelous. "It was my 3rd visit to Phuket but my first visit to Katathani.
We stayed at the Bhuri Wing
My parents did already stayed at Kathathani several times. also this time from 4th of Dec. until 23rd of Dec 2009.
We (My family) went there to surprise them.
It was a full success, like Easter, X-mas and new year together
Our family really enjoyed the staying with you.
The staff is so friendly and the location is perfect.
Nearly no traffic and night time quiet.
Breakfast buffet is huge and just perfect.
It’s a perfect place for honeymooners, Seniors, individuals, couples as well as for families.
The Resort has several Wings so that the noisy playing children do not disturb the ones who want to relax.
4 Swimming pools one of them 110% suitable for children. Just the slide is not for the really small ones.
Thai massage under the open sky is a must. But you have to contact them, they will not ask you. (Hotel policy)
Once more nothing to complain.
